Having stayed in numerous properties in Bath over the years I can thoroughly recommend this one. Comfortable and well presented by housekeeper Mary it is in a quiet area, well equipped and with a nice courtyard garden at the rear. A pleasant walk into town through Hedgemead Park and the Co-op in Julian Road is just 5 minutes away. It also enabled me to entertain family members who live in Bath.

We really appreciated our 10 day stay at Hedgemead Park House. It was very comfortable, well-equipped and it was so nice having a whole house and pretty terrace garden for the three of us to spread out in. The views across Bath from the front windows were very pleasant. It was very much like staying in our own home while exploring a whole new city. It was a 10 minute downhill walk to the supermarket and while coming back was uphill, it could be done through pretty Hedgemead Park - we didn't bother investigating bus routes to the house. All the major attractions of Bath are also within easy walking distance.

The house is in lovely condition and is spotlessly clean. The furniture is very comfortable and you feel that you are walking into a family home. It is only 15mins walk from house to Abbey, downhill there but uphill back. We would have no hesitation in coming back here again.
