To Bath from any of the above, please take note that a chauffeur-driven car from Bath is the most comfortable way to your Bath Holiday Home. This will save hassle and anxiety in negotiating the public transport system; there will be no need to lift your luggage; there will be no need to worry about finding your holiday address; and if you arrive particularly late, the chauffeur will have the key to your holiday home. The drive from Bristol airport will be about 40 mins. from Heathrow it will be about 1.5 hours; from Gatwick 2.5 hours and from Stansted in mid-summer 5 hours. |

BY TRAIN to Bath Bath is 1.5 - 2 hours from London-Paddington It is a good and smooth service, much cheaper if you travel out of rush hour and book your journey well ahead. NOTE that from Heathrow airport; you can take a Railair coach to Reading (£13 single) which is on the London-Bath line. This avoids having to go to Paddington and shortens your journey to Bath by a good half hour. From other destinations, Bath is well connected; Bristol is 10 minutes away, with connections from north, south, east and west. |

| BY SELF DRIVE CAR If you are intending to hire a car, consider hiring one in Bath. There is so much to see and do in Bath itself, that you will not need a car in the city. If you want to have a car for a day then rent one locally. The daily charges will be cheaper, you will have no need to pay parking charges all week; and you can be brought down from the airport by Michael Jones (see above). |
