Here is a quietly luxurious flat in the main Georgian boulevard of Bath.   It is at street level, in one of the large terraced houses for which Bath is famous.   Georgian details  include plaster cornicing and working shutters.  

The entire flat has been redecorated in 2006 and the décor successfully mixes eras; the  kitchen is completely modern with granite work top and laminate flooring, while the bedroom has attractive double brass bed and a capacious Georgian tortoiseshell wardrobe.   The sitting room is comfortable with sofas and side tables, and the  internal bathroom has been completely refurbished with new shower-in-bath and shower curtain, a Georgian marble-topped washstand with basin and an elegant woven vinyl floor.   The main rooms and hallway have luxurious deep-pile striped carpet.

The outlook at the back, which faces south, is onto neighbourhood gardens plentifully filled with trees.   The front faces the street and the majestic Georgian houses opposite.   The level walk into the city centre and the Waitrose food store is hardly five minutes.   The central location of this flat combined with comfortable and luxurious interior, has meant that after just three years, the majority of guests are repeat visitors.   It is run by a very attentive owner from a professional  hotel background.
